Hume Pipe Company Limited is a long established operation in Zimbabwe since 1947. The Company has a well established reputation for providing a good reliable service and quality products. The Company has two production plants, one in Harare and the other in Bulawayo.

The Managing Director is Mr Carlo Dal Col who has managed the Company for forty-three years. He is based in Harare, the headquarters of the Company. The Bulawayo office is managed by Mr Tshabalala who has been with the Company for over thirty years. The staff complement of the Company is 120 staff for both plants making the Company a significant employer in the construction industry.

Factory Facilities

Hume Pipe Company has two factories. One in Harare on Birmingham Road which is on leased premises. However, the City of Harare has allocated land to Hume Pipe Company Limited in a joint venture deal where Hume Pipe Company Limited will service the land and get allocated a portion for its business.

The second factory, which is more modern, is based in Bulawayo on a 3.5 hectare site which is owned by the Company.
