The Company produces the following products;

a) Sewer reticulation pipes of different sizes and diameter;

b) Stormwater pipes;

c) Mainhole rings and covers;

d) Porous pipes;

e) Paving stones and other precast products such as railway sleepers..

The pipes include an extensive range from 150mm through to 1.3 metres in diameter. There are also various specifications or classes for both the storm water and sewer pipes depending on the particular application. The Company uses the wet spun process to manufacture the pipes.

Factory Facilities

Hume Pipe Company has two factories. One in Harare on Birmingham Road which is on leased premises. However, the City of Harare has allocated land to Hume Pipe Company Limited in a joint venture deal where Hume Pipe Company Limited will service the land and get allocated a portion for its business.

The second factory, which is more modern, is based in Bulawayo on a 3.5 hectare site which is owned by the Company.
